Find out how healthy your Pylontech battery really is

Your Pylontech battery quietly records everything about itself — every cell voltage, temperature, charge cycle and fault. The trouble is that this comes out as a wall of numbers almost nobody can read.

We turn that data into a clear, professional health report. Send us the log files from your battery and we’ll send back a PDF report with a single, easy A–E health grade and a plain-English explanation of what’s happening inside your pack.

Ideal when you’re buying or selling a used battery, troubleshooting a system that isn’t performing, preparing a warranty claim, or you just want peace of mind.

What you get

  • A multi-page PDF health report, branded and easy to read
  • An overall health grade (A–E) and 0–100 score on the cover
  • Cell-balance analysis — the clearest early warning of a weak cell, with a per-cell chart
  • Cycle count & wear — how much of the rated life has been used
  • Serial number & firmware captured straight from the battery
  • A short plain-English verdict with clear next steps
  • Emailed to you — keep it, share it.

How it works

  1. Export your logs. In Pylontech BatteryView (or the console tool), save the history and event / scan files for your battery — the .xlsx scan-log files.
  2. Send them to us. Upload the files at checkout, or order and email them with your order number.
  3. Get your report. We email your PDF health report — usually within one business day.

Which files do I send?

The history and/or event / scan-log file exported from your battery’s monitoring software — these arrive as .xlsx spreadsheets. One set of files per battery module gives the most complete report. Not sure which is which? Send everything you have and we’ll sort it out. We accept logs from the US2000, US2000B / B Plus, US2000C, US3000C and US5000.

What we check

In the report Why it matters
Cell voltage balance The best single indicator of pack health and weak cells
Charge cycle count Shows how much rated service life remains
Serial number & firmware Confirms the exact module and software version
Pack voltage Confirms operation within the safe band
Temperature Confirms cells stayed within safe limits
BMS faults & error codes Surfaces protection events or active faults
Overall health grade One clear A–E result anyone can read

Turnaround & delivery

Reports are prepared by hand and emailed as a PDF, usually within one business day of receiving your files. This is a digital service — nothing is shipped.

FAQ

How do I get the log files off my battery?
Connect to your battery using the BatteryView software using one of our USB diagnostic cables, click Window and select History Data Window.  Next click History and save the resultant files to a folder on your desktop, so the same for Events.  Do not click SOC Reset.  Separate batteries by folders if possible.

Can you report on a whole stack?
Yes — one report per module, each with its own grade, so you can spot the weak link.

Will this help with a warranty claim?

It gives you a clear, dated, independent summary of your battery's measured condition that you can attach to a claim. The warranty decision itself rests with your installer or Pylontech, who haven't published their pass/fail criteria.

Can the report tell whether it's the battery or my setup? Often, yes. Repeated OV (over-voltage), LV (low-voltage) or OC (over-current) events usually point to the inverter not respecting the charge/discharge limits the master battery is sending — either ignoring the BMS data, or running custom settings that override them.  Knowing which it is tells you whether to look at the battery or the inverter configuration first.
